No, she didn't do anything wrong in this transaction, but it they got to looking into your account and saw things in past transactions -- like loads of mags in one month or other cards at the same address in PC, etc (she may not have any of this, but there may be something that stands out), it could cause a problem. It's never a good thing for Boots to examine your card, even if the transaction that spurred it isn't a worry. But it sounds like she wisely kept the receipt (good call, lol!).

Not digging at you ..........................just amazed that so many people ordered so quickly to clear out the stock! I only wanted a few bottles of liquid and washing up stuff as nowhere to store 43 of anything!
i don't want it to 'kick off' in here or anywhere.will keep mouth shut and just lurk i think

Hmm, I've not seen a clearance stand for months in my local :mad: (or any good clearance their either for that matter, obviously except my mirrors )

Thanks to a lovely, kind, generous Bootser, I managed to get out today and buy 3 mirrors for for £9.98 using 2 different electrical vouchers!

TOTAL bargain! I'm so chuffed!

well - found the 1p johnsons stuff in my store today - full price SEL - was buying some other stuff aswell and returning a duplicate toy to swap for other stuff. anyway - was all going fine until the sa noticed the 1p - i said that it was reduced becuaes they were changing teh packaging. she said she had to check and went away for AGES!!!!! I was asking the sa on the next till what was taking so long as i had to go and get ds from nursery and then a team manager came over. she said that it was a mistake and that they are not for sale. she then proceeded to void the whole transaction and said that toys are part of 3 for 2 and therefore without teh receipt they consider the returned one to beteh free one and she put it through as a credit of 1p against my shopping!!!! i said that i would leave it and keep the original toy but i still wanted my johnsons stuff - she said that they were not for sale but that i could have them as a free gift and that they were mine. Not in a nice way at all and i would prefer to pay for them to be honest!!! so off i went. What a cheek giving me a 1p refund for a £16 toy!!!! they really should sort their systems out - if they had deducted a third of the value of the toy that would have been ok but what would be the point of returning something and getting 1p for it??!! her whole attitude was off but as it is my local i dont want to ring and complain as i feel it would just cause more hassles for me in the long run - really annoyed though!!!! Original sa also said " i bet you have cleared the shelf of the johnsons" but i said no there are plenty left. I did pick quite a few (which i will use on dd and ds) but there were lots left:(

I just think you shouldn't have digs at people because you don't know their situation. Like I mentioned in another post I have a need for this type of stuff as you can imagine I do get through quite a bit. I've said all I'm going to say on this matter and I would thank peeps to leave me alone, my life is tough enough without coming on a forum and getting sly digs.

Well done thats a bargain. Still chuffed with my 3 for under a tenner aswell though!
