Starting to get twitchy!

I have around £70 inheritance to save wisely for my future!! I've done lots of research (or so I thought) and opened a £33k Post Office 1yr Growth Bond and have £35k in Kaupthing Edge account ready to transfer to a 1yr today. But...... already I'm thinking maybe PO wasn't such a smart idea, I've no idea what to do if I had to try and claim from Bank of Ireland and since the PO still haven't issued my certificate because of volume of applicants, there must be thousands of us in the same situation. Obviously, no reason to think anything might happen to Bank of Ireland, but just getting a bit twitchy and wondering whether I should transfer back the money from Kaupthing before it goes into the 1yr growth malarkey and try and keep things a bit more simple, at the expense of some interest.
Having only recently lost my Mother, I still feel this isn't really my money and feel a bit panicked by suddenly having it, worrying I am rushing into greedy decisions.
Should I just stick to my original guns and stop fretting?
Thanks!
