Help Please - Debt Collector Letters arriving at my house in someone elses name?????

I've had two debt agency letters in the last two days for someone who doesn't live at my house and has never lived there as far as I am aware. The are from J2 Solutions and Mackenzie Hall.
My concerns are:
How did they get this information when that name has never lived at my house?
Should I be concerned that the named person is using my address to obtain credit and how would I find out?
Will I have to prove to these agencies that I am the home owner and an in no way connected to the named person? How could I prove this?
Are there any other issues with this that I haven't thought about?
I do not have any debt except my mortgage and occassionally a little bit overdrawn, surely if these two companies had done there research correctly they would see that I am not in debt and the named person has never lived at the property?
Help please

Is the name similar in anyway to yours? Send the agencies a letter, by recorded delivery, stating that you are not the person they are looking for, and you are not aware that anyone with that name has ever lived at your address. Send a copy of your council tax bill to prove that you are not the person they are looking for. DO NOT TELEPHONE these agencies, even if they insist you do - deal with them via letters only."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Make sure that your name is the only one registered on the electoral roll (you can do this online) plus your OH's name and anyone aged over 16 or 18 who lives with you. Delete any that are incorrect.
My DS was getting arrest warrants etc in the name of the previous occupiers (completely different name to his), and he found that they were still registered as living there according to the electoral register - he just deleted their names, added his and his wife's and made sure he kept his gas bill handy so any 'callers' (the police, in his case) could see he wasn't the other guy.0 -
No the name is completely different, nothing similar at all!!!!
I have spoken to both companies (before I read your posts unfortunately), J2 Solutions said the letter was meant for a different house number. J2 Solutions are working for Mackenzie Hall - so told Mackenzie Hall what J2 told me!!! I will follow up both my phonecalls in writing!0
