I just wanted to say Woo hoo!! Gt my car insurance renewal yesterday for £454.78 boo 
After following the advice on MSE I now have a quote for an even better policy for £298.78, and can get £60 cash back through Quidco. I had just been resigned to pay the original £454.78 but thought I'd give it a go. Yey! 
Sorry, isn't really of use to anyone, but just shows it does work I've basically halved mine by the time cashback gets back to me x
