Halifax and changing my standing order?

My financial circumstances have changed and I now need to change the standing order on my high interest savings account. Have any of you done this before? Can I do it through my online banking or do I have to go into the Halifax branch where I opened the account?

if you have online banking and halifax allow it, you can do it online. Otherwise you can alter it at the branch or by sending a letter in by post.

That has to be a last resort it took 4 appointments to set the damn thing up to start with!!!!

Forget making an appointment

Go earlier in the day and ask for it to be done there and then. No ifs or buts, don't be fobbed off with call this number business. I do it all the time.

As for the S/O - It is easy to change it online / add all your halifax accounts to the portal, just apply for online banking.
