This came about after i bumped into a friend in town and was telling her about my nappy and towel cakes.Anyway someone in the shop overheard and asked for a flyer...turns out she only lives 5 mins from me so dropped one off.Loves the cakes but on a budget as its for her friends wedding and she had already bought something but what could i do for her in the chosen colour scheme and price range. This is the result, smaller than my last one (half the towels and no bubbly)Hope you like it

I made one for my mum in black and white for a wedding gift but I don't think I took a pic.Little Miss Chatterbox

I did find the pic although I wasn't very happy with the cake. My Mum turned up with towels and said can you make me a cake now? She was going away for the wedding the following day. I had never done one before and had to use what ribbons I had. I wasn't happy with the way I tied them but didn't have the time to rearrange.
I found it much quicker to do than the nappy cakes do you Kizzy?Little Miss Chatterbox

Lovely Kizzy, love the colours.
Did you get the larger lillies from the same place as the smaller ones? I have smaller ones but have never seen the larger oneRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I love the colours and flowers, you've done a fantastic job.

Thanks everyone, theres nothing inside this one but i had a candle leftover from last years basket making in the shape of a bottle of bubbly so stuck it on the side
Rusty the large lillies came from the same shop as the smaller ones but they were reduced and only had a couple of packs so i'll have to keep my eyes peeled. If i see any more i'll give you a shout
Shelley love your cake, ive really enjoyed the 2 ive done and they are so much quicker to make than nappy cakes.
