The utter irrelavance of Clown

The worst crisis for 50, maybe 100 years. 10,000s of people out of work in the space of 48 hours. Banking system collapsing, personal wealth collapsing, London's core wealth engine spluttering to a halt.

And where is Crash Gordon? Nowhere! What a total irrelevance the fool has shown himself to be as Britain comes apart at the seams.

I 100% believe our Queen must step in to bring an end to this hopeless farce of a government and initiate an election. Waiting 18 months will guarantee a disorderly breakdown in society which the police won't be able to control and the army is overseas.

He's getting on with the job, which job that is, is open to debate.

Perhaps he's "on the job" with Sarah.:D

Perhaps he's in the bunker under No.10, listening to Jimmy Shand on the gramophone and ordering counter-attacks on the short-sellers?

Perhaps he's practising his conference speech naked in front of a full length mirror.

i think a genral election would be the best thing allround, let the people take out their fustration and hatred out on thoes who brought this on, rather than let it fester till it spills into the streets.
  • In the ten year long boom we just had any fool could run the country (well in fact they did) but its when things get a little tough that true leaders show their ability.........

Nu labour is showing its amazing ability to noy have a clue in anyway shape or form.

Oh I belive they have just introduced a law banning the name of the issueing garage written on number plates on cars.

If that aint dealing with the big issues I dont know what is!

How much wealth did that part of the economy create? The economy is making bricks, building houses, feeding people. What you think of as a wealth creating engine merely facilitates wealth being created elsewhere, skims off a cut and crows about the wealth it thinks it has created. And rightly takes the flak in times like these.

What we need at a time like this is either King Arthur to come back with Excalibur or a strong leader with a mustache who will put everyone in uniform. Nothing to do with getting people to engage their attention away from the affairs of celebrities, bling cars, bling houses and bling gadgets funded by MEW to bling loans. Nothing to do with disgustingly low election turnouts which make Big Brother look important. Nothing to do with giving Labour MP's a hard time for saying "at times like this the people will not understand if we have a leadership election". Nothing to do with people being too bone idle to think.
After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
    To dissolve the people
    And elect another?

He reminds me of a slinky spring. Looks completely useless but surprisingly amusing to watch falling down the stairs.

Legend has it that King Arthur sleeps in a cave just around the corner, a few minutes drive from my house, in Alderley Edge. I'll try and be there to brief him and his knights on the situation when he wakes, and send them after the BTL-ers.

According to the best known legend in Cheshire, the wilds of Alderley were one of the haunts of Merlin the Magician, known locally as the Wizard of the Edge. Merlin's Well (or spring) runs down a rocky outcrop in the woods to be collected in a small stone trough.

"Drink of this and take thy fill
For the water falls by the Wizard's will."

is inscribed on the rock-face above, along with a three dimensional carving of Merlin's Head.

King Arthur and his Knights are believed to sleep in a nearby cave.
