bt broadband problem

Hi my inlaws are with bt for there broadband they using a voyager modem, she had problems with her email for a while and was back and forth with bt usual problems getting hold of them etc. Her email was saying bt had disconnected her, bt saying she didnt have broadband etc eventually got someone to sort it out but now whenever anyone using the internet and someone uses the phone it cuts off the internet, again she having hassles getting in touch with bt they saying its the filter on the modem she changed this and still its happening..

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this or who to contact at bt to get it sorted.. in effect she paying for broadband and not getting it

are there filters on ALL the phones/sockets/sky boxes/alarms etc in the house ??

have they tried swapping the phone for another ??

make sure the modem is in the master socket. try removing all the phones whilst you use the net and see if that helps?
can you try another modem? the voyager modem had a lot of issues.
the new bt home hub router is far better.
