Re: px software and building managment systems

hi,

can any1 tell me what px software is in conrols side, i may be training up in it just want to know if any1 knows how hard it is to program?

    What it is i have a company that is willing to train me me up on bms systems as a controls engineer, just want to know how hard it is to write px software. Im curentley a refrigeration engineer and know about controls.

    Are you asking how hard it is to code in px? Or is this some sort of closed software that company uses?

    PX used to refer to a database product from Corel, is that what your talking about?

    Are you on about the Siemens PX range of products?

    You should be able to pick up the use of the software ok, but are they going to train you up properly on controls applications such as temperature, humidity and control loops with proportional, integral and derivative control?
