i've found that SAFI can be obtained on protectmyholiday.com it's a new site (started 16/09/2008) for individual passengers to protect their schedule flights and more it only costs £5 per person and is an add on to your own travel insurance - this company until now just catered for the travel industry and not to individual passengers they explain everything on site and it is really easy to access and obtain hope this helps
