Advice re: tariffs please!
Options
Hi I live in a 2 bedroom flat which solely uses electricity.
I'm currently with npower and paying £190 per month for electricity. I am on the economy7 tariff but dont have the storage heaters which would make this worthwhile.
I want to switch companies to save some money. Tried uswitch which said that BT Energy5 tariff would be cheapest.
Was just wondering if anyone could offer some advice on if this would be the best thing to do?
Thanks!

Be wary as BG's click energy hasn't increased...yet, but most likely will do.
Take a look at scottish powers fixed til Dec 2009 online, I'm on e7 and they were a lot cheaper than southern's no standing charge standard rates.
If you've only got a electricity in the property but no storage heaters 1) how do you heat your home? and 2) is it really worth having an e7 tariff? the night rate is cheaper, but the day rate is a lot more expensive, so unless you use 30-40% of your electricity at night, it's cheaper to ditch the night rate.Dannii_B
