NSI and Northern Rock - is more than £35k covered by FSCS?

Seeing as these two are backed by the government, is any amount of money above the £35k covered by the scheme, or is it the same as all the other institutions?
Just wondered as have our money spread out a lot and would be easier to put it all in one, but won't do if the total amount isn't covered.

HannahI am not a financial advisor. Anything I post is basically just random stuff from my head. Digest it as you will. Being free of debt is good. Banks control us through debt. Caveat Emptor. Ignore anything I say. Oh and don't copy it either. Cheers. I'll have a Guinness extra cold.0
