These are so pretty they remind me of the Christmas trees you can make using cone oasis. Only thing I'm confused about is that the site with the instructions sticks the cocktail sticks into the sweets and then says you cannot eat them! this is a waste of good chocolate!!! Anyone know how to make it and have the chocolate edible? Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0

I think they are a lovely present for young and old:D:D
I don't know if those butterflies are expensive or not but this is a homemade version http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/CandyWA/PopBottleButterfly.jpg
If you had a lot to do maybe buying the paints would be cheaper option? Anyway I thought they were quite pretty and good for poking in gardening hampers too.
Dragonllew, everything on your photo page is brilliant, bet they all went down a storm.0 -

After much searching I decided that my mum loves liquorice so I could put liquorice wheels in it. Because these are black I've ordered a black living vase (Mam will like that because she has got a black and white living room) and bright pink plain cello. I'm going to order the tissue paper next.
Do i need to use florist picks for the liquorice wheels? Do you attach the wheels with florist tape to the pick?
Sorry for all the questions but i haven't got any floristry skills at all. I was going to use kebab sticks !!!Little Miss Chatterbox

Shelley could you get some of the pink liquorice allsorts the ones with the beads on? and attatch them to a plain black wheel?
I would have used skewers as these are obviously safe for food. Not sure if florist picks would be?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Yes i thought that about the skewers so i think i will stick to the kebab sticks.
I found some liquorice wheels that already have the pink allsorts attached and that looked really nice I think they looked better than the plain ones. I was going to order them online but I can probably get them in the local sweet shop so I will try them first.
Can't wait to get started now LOL:rotfl::rotfl:Little Miss Chatterbox
