  • Thanks for all the replies guys/girls. Thought i'd update you and throw in a deal while i'm at it!
I eventually plumped for the Berghaus Cornice jacket after much deliberating. The price i got it for was £84.59, which if you check about is a complete bargain. How i managed it was GO Outdoors have a price promise where they won't be beat on price ANYHERE and if they are will match the deal and give you a further 10% off. Here is the link: http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/price-guarantee. M+MDirect have the jacket for sale @ £89.99 + £3.99 delivery = £93.98.
I phoned up the number spoke to a lovely girl who checked it out and matched the M+M price - 10%!
So if anyone(Surfing spaniel) is looking for a deal on a Berghaus(or any other brand) look around, make sure it's in stock include the delivery price and give them a phone!

Hope it give someone a bargain!!

    Cheers

  • How about one of those jackets that outdoor workers use at outside events. You often see them in hi-viz colours or black. They are sold by workwear and safety companies for circa £25. Not the most stylish but they are sold as practical hardwearing clothing for people who work all day in bad weather. Do you know any council or road workers?
    Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
