Note from Martin
This type of offer appears at Superdrug every now and then. It's worth grabbing while you can.
The promotion is on from Monday 28 November until 11 December or while stocks last.
A book of 6 First Class stamps will cost £1.71 and 12 stamps £3.42

Thanks shays_mum - was wondering if they were going to do it again this year. Do you know if these are the standard gold stamps or if they are the Christmas design?Ah! Good old trusty beer... I hope you never change.0

I bought a ton of these last year but forgot to ask for the standard gold ones so I got a load of christmas design ones and have been too embaressed to use them throughout the rest of the year!! *blush*0

I bought loads from Sainsbury's about three years ago - all with Snowmen on.
I even use them to send people postcards when we holiday in the Summer (UK holiday).0 -
Thanks really short of 1st class stamps at the moment - did this last year and stocked up with a fair few - think I'll put it on my list of things to do when I next brave town

Stamps are 1p off at Gee Tee's (who have Northern stores only) all year round. A cheap gimmick selling stamps at cost (retailers make 5% profit on stamps so they are selling them at cost), but worth knowing.0

A few months ago I bought first class stamps at Costco. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact price, but there was a big discount off of the usual price. Certainly worth it if you're already a member.

Who sends Christmas cards 1st class?
Send them 2nd class, and save even more!0 -
What's this with the 1st class stamps bit anyway? Real moneysavers only use 1st class in a dire emergency. It only takes a bit of forethought to post a letter a couple of days ahead and use second class postage.:rudolf: Always skip and eat your peas :rudolf:0

I messed up on this one, silly me. Bought a book of 24 2nd class, instead of the books of 12 so didn't get the 5% off. Oh well.... I was rushing as usual and didn't check.
