Yes, thats what she said Premier. Because the tag is missing, its not "as sold".“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Take a button off or undo a bit of stitching!0 -
Although it doesn't have a tag (and legally you're not entitled to a refund) they can and usually will refund it. If they say they cant as they cant scan/resell it tell them the barcode is printed on the label so it is possible. If they still refuse ask to speak to the clothing manager. I used to work on cs at Tesco and 99% of the time we gave refunds even without tags. Hope this helps.Total Debt start June 09 £11,083.03

Apparently though, this particular shirt doesnt have the bar code printed on the label, so she first thought it wasnt a Tesco shirt but the lady next to her on CS told her it was but it needed the cardboard tag. Will definitely try one of the ideas above and go at a different time of day to avoid these two dragons!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Say there wasn't a tag on it & someone had to run to clothing & grab one which was tagged so it could be scanned ( assuming the barcode is on said tag ).
You took the untagged one & the runner returned the tagged one to the clothing dept.
Failing that try another day/store as has been mentioned.0 -
All Tesco products should have the code on tag. It should be on the one inside with the washing instructions. It starts with 55.....Also if you have another store near you that also sells clothes take it to that one. providing they sell clothes they should do it. Also if there wasn't a tag on when it was sold to you then you can return it without. If no joy they should be able to ask the cashier who served you (if it wasn't too long ago) if they can remember.Total Debt start June 09 £11,083.03
