How to share a document online

I hope someone can help.

I am sending out some letters by snail mail to prospective clinets. Within this i am sending a samplle of my work. Which makes the envelope heavy and i am incurring considerable postage charges.

Instead i would just like to say at the bottom of my letter something like, ' to see an example of my work please visit www.blahblahblah.com/example.pdf

The question is can i do this and how?

I have looked at google docs but you need to invite people to see the doc and i dont know the names of some of the people whom i am writing to let alone their email addresses.

I also tried one of the file upload sites but with it being a pdf file i cannot view it when i foollow the link.

can anyone help?
