Hi, i am thinking of buying a portable netbook for work and need some advice. Do i buy an Acer Aspire One 8GB flash memory, 512MB memory, Linux for £199 or Dell Inspiron with 8GB flash memory, 1GB memory, LInux for £229. I think the Dell would be better quality and the prices are from Tesco direct. Thanks.

Personally, I'd go for the Dell with the extra memory.
The Register recently did a nice roundup of all the netbooks on the market, with a useful table on the last page comparing the various specs. (Apparently the Dell has a better webcam too)0
