Best account for Postgraduate MA

Hi all,

First post to the forum... I'm starting my MA this year with aspirations for a PhD starting the year after and, despite trawling through all the articles on best bank accounts, was unable to come to a conclusion on my own.

It seems that I won't be eligible for the Railcard deal with Natwest because that is only first year undergrads, which is a real kick in the teeth. Does anybody have any recommendations for this level of study; I know that switching is supposed to be the way forward at all times, but where should I switch to?

Martin

P.S. I plan to be commuting for my PhD, so any travel benefits are really appreciated.
