What book are you onto now?

I've got today off of work, feel awful but hoping it's a 24hour bug or something to do with the fact i had quality streets for tea last night although i doubt it. I feel completely useless sat in bed! (watching Antiques Roadshow though) so i'm beginning to know how you feel. Don't even think I get sick pay but i need the money so might book one of my holidays down to cover it. Going to try and make use of the day off, most likely just some STP and dooyoo.

Hope it goes well at the doctors for you, and they can give you some magical kind of tablet to make you better. Well done on the ebay items :T

Lol more likely the bug Cinny. Hope you feel better soon. Drink lots of fluids then if it's bacterial you'll flush them all out. How can you not get sick pay, know it's a family firm but if you're doing a real job rather than a little holiday cover you shouldn't really be treated differently legally.

Magical tablet would be awesome. Unlikely though!

I'm reading The Wedding Officer by Anthony Cappella, so far quite a bit of death and war time politics, the history is interesting though, and despite me not being one for war books, I am loving the food and the writing style in the book.

That's why I only consider it hopefull I'll get a bid if there are 3 or more Tete, lots of people just watch, some just forget to bid, but with 3 I figure I have a decent shot of one of them risking 99p!

Ooooh had to add one more thing onto my to do list

That's what I thought, I'll talk it over with my Dad tonight, I know I wont get the full 9 hours pay that i work on monday as it's overtime but i still want my 4.5 hours.

I'm still on my book of essays, managed to read one last night and I'll get some more read this afternoon. I think I've seen that wedding officer one somewhere, sounds familiar!

I doubt i'm even as half as sick as you are but you still have a list about 3 times as long as mine, still baffled as to how you do it.

ARGH! Was signed off again! I'm so bored! The doctor said she could not sign me off if I wanted, but in her opinion I needed it. But that she couldn't work out what was wrong and why my asthma was rubbish! Called my boss and she was nice about it, and I talked about my cases that need decisions this week and the two should be taken over by other officers.

And in addition driving back from the doctors my handbrake failed. Luckily I was only about 500m from home at the time else it would have been an RAC rescue. When I got in the car the handbrake was at 90degrees instead of the usual 45degrees, and had very little tension, now it seems to have knackered completely. This is not my day.

Right that's my pouty little strop over.

Actually no it isnt! OH had my house keys last, don't know which one of us put them where, but I haven't seen them for almost a month. So when I went to the doctor I didn't lock the door. Came home to find the door ajar, at first I thought there might be burgulars, but no, just postman had put some parcels in the hall. But not closed the door again why? So then I did a mad run about looking for mums school rabbit, and my cat who is currently uninsured and completely stupid so her getting out uninsured is a major worry. Luckily all was fine. My Boobs order did arrive though so lots of pressies for people. Is it too early to tuck into the Baileys?

Lol okay I didn't infact get new boobs! Got my Boots order, my brothers FCUK set (£50 to £12ish) is a bit scuffed, but the Baileys made it in one piece, that's the important thing! Going to give mum one of the gift sets tonight to say thank you for wrapping some of my parcels and taking loads to the post office last week.

  • Sorry for laughing, couldn't help it! These things are sent to try us and all that, hopefully your handbrake should be easily fixable. Did the doc not prescribe anything new?
