Have a look at this 'All in one PC' sort of a cross between a laptop and a desktop, interesting spec, Centrino and WIFI, decent graphics should play most games, enough RAM, large hard disk, DVDRW and 17" TFT for less than £500.
Cost $1700 when it was released in the USA last year and was designed for kids.
Its a bit different.

I know that Greater Manchester Police are currently looking at this scheme and believe it will come into effect around the middle of 2006.
