I just paid to rent a movie through itunes... it is telling me it will be done in 48 minutes and is installing 1gb...
.. am not pleased! Is this going to clog all my memory? And why is it taking so long... I wanted to watch it now.
If I had known this I wouldn't have wasted £3.50.
ETA: It is saying 20 mins now.. will it be here sooner?

I would have thought it woudl be downloaded to your HD and allowed to view it over a certain time, I could be wrong of course
£3.50 is alot I rather buy a older film on dvd for that
what film is it.
1gb is a not lot of a good quality film it will be compressed quite a bit although it could be worse a decent bitrate would be about 1.5gb or greater for a 1.30 min film0 -
No you are right - I have 48 hours to view it. It is 1.24gb with 23 minutes remaining - will it just vanish then and take all is gb's with it?
The film is Fools Gold.:cool:0 -

The files are compressed as h.264.
A film that is 1.24 GB in size should look OK.0 -
Yes I thought they would use that you can get more compression with h.2640
