It really depends on how obvious the modifications are.

Ok so do you think I have got a case then because its not that I was ignorant I did not declare it because in my eyes they are not modifications I thought everything came as standard on the vehicle.

Obviously your eyes are different to that of the insurance company.

Never take anything for granted with insurance companies, if there is the slightest doubt, ask them.

    What year was the car?

    What size were the alloys?

What makes me think that the OP has a relatively weak case is that he is questioning the clarity of the question as if he was not sure when answering it (even though it was perhaps in his mind that the car was non-standard), in which case he should really have sought advice. If he had simply admitted that he had no idea that the car was modified then his case would be stronger IMO.
  • LinasPilibaitisisbatman,

do you ever, ever post something that actually helps or informs someone?

I really think that you need some counselling or electro-therapy because you are really a pain in the a**e.! If you have nothing substantial to say then shut the f**k up!!

and before you come back with another pointless post I have been "lurking" here for a few months so I know what c**p you spout.

    marques72,
unfortunately, the Police have nothing better to do and have picked on you. Seriously though, go the the Pepipoo wbsite and state your case there. People on there will have some experience of what you are going through and may have some sensible advice.

    Good luck

This has nothing to do with the police, this is an insurance issue.
