Soolin, on a completely unrelated side note: please put Avon back. Captain Jack just doesn't do it for me. ;)

I was thinking of Marcus from B5 actually for my next change.

  • I've had a similar problem recently with my paypal (not ebay) account being hijacked. It was a fraudulent transaction for $40 to www.gaia.com. I've reported it to paypal, changed all my passwords, run the malware program recommended by browntoa etc. but as I don't seem to have a virus and I can't believe someone guessed my password as I use roboform and so it's a random number/symbol/letter password I am at a lost as to how this happened. And more importantly how I stop this happening again - any advice on what I can do to prevent this again?

    Thanks

I had my paypal account hacked in August - twice. Both for $500. One transaction went through, but paypal spotted it and refunded. The other one was blocked by paypal before any money disappeared. I was on holiday at the time and it was a few weeks later that I was aware of all this. I have no idea how it happened and will run the malware program on the pc. A BIG BIG thank you to paypal for being so efficient though.:T
