Celebrity Chef Restaurants?

Has anyone got any ideas on any restaurants were the celebrity chef actually cooks in the kitchen?

Went to "The Blue Angel" in Dartmouth a couple of years ago owned by John Burton Race where we had a fantastic meal actually cooked by JBR.

We were looking to go to Rick Steins in Padstow but cant get a table as its booked up for month's in advance, i also read that he and many other celeb cooks dont or rarely cook in there restaurants as there out there making money in other ways - TV apperances, book signings, etc etc.

Any Ideas?
My mind tends to wander............If found please return;)

I can spell...................I just cant type:confused:

I've cooked some fantastic celebrity food from https://www.bbc.co.uk/food and it is just like the restaurant, no celebrity in sight.

I dined at Turner's Restaurant in the Millennium Mayfair Hotel last October and Brian Turner was at the door greeting diners before going into the kitchen. He later came out and asked various diners how if they had enjoyed their evening.

    Great bloke...for a Yorkshireman! :D

I'd rather eat my own young than give any business to these half-witted food-snobs that appear on the telly with their smarmy attitudes. If I saw one of their names above a restaurant door I'd probably take my business elsewhere.

I dined at La Maison D'Arches D'Or last week. There was a plastic statue of its founder Ronald McDonald outside. I mean how pompous and self serving can you get? I'm never going there again for my Petit Dejeuner. :D

OK come back AWT etc all is forgiven!!

I would just force myself into one of their restaurants if Burger King, Macdonalds etc was the only other choice, but grudgingly. There are still enough places to eat with good (maybe better?) chefs, good choices and good service around without lining the pockets of the oafs that get on telly.

I took my now Ex husband to Rick Steins nearly 2years ago for a surprise birthday gift. We went with another couple and I have to say it was fabulous. Whilst Rick wasn't there the food and serivce were exceptional. I'd happily pay the money to go again if I now weren't so busy 'moneysaving'.

Nancy Lam cooks at her place in Battersea.

No chance of meeting Gordon Ramsay.

Rick Stein's dreafully overpriced and overhyped.
