The 'come back soon' discount isn't valid for every booking, especially busy weeks like school hols  (but you may get lucky - we did once:cool: )
  • We were at Whinfell last week and had a great time!

Food costs we found were more reasonable than expected. For example a chinese banquet meal was about £15 per person and £11 for a bottle of wine.

The Indian restaurant had an early evening special for £9.95 2 courses (ordered by 6.30) which was lovely, and tons of food.

There's a Cafe Rouge and Bella Italia, which you can use Tesco clubcard deals for.

The supermarket had a really good selection of stuff, and didn't cost that much more than a corner shop. They had freshly baked baguettes and pasties (about £1 - £1.25) and also cakes and stuff.

Activities were quite expensive (we did archery - £16 each) and badminton (£6 for 45 minutes court rental).

    Hope this helps
