With the credit crunch and inflation do you economise on products at supermarket?

  • I would just like to point out that the credit crunch has nothing to do with inflation however inflation has everything to do with the severity of the crunch.

    Anyway the answer for me is no, because I am buying food of the same quality (imho Class I = Class II) and similar macro-nutrients only for cheaper. I buy what suites me and if an expensive and cheap option both do it and lean to the cheaper.
    Buy for value not cost.
