Hi
I kerbed my Golf Gti yesterday at about 30 mph  and have a carbuncle in my front tyre which needs replacing before i go back to work on wednesday because i really dont feel like a blow-out.
Went on https://www.e-tyres.co.uk as they have Toyo proxes for 67.90 fitted and i have them fitted all around my car, but they cant fit them until Thursday, and thats no good to me.
The question i have is if i get a cheap budget tyre fitted and end up with one tyre different to the rest is that a good idea, how will it affect the handling, etc etc. i'd use the spare but its crap
Any help would be great

I've got a 96 VR6 and currently got budget performance tyres all round. Can't remember exactly but think they're Phoenix or something, for 215 x 40 x 17 at back they cost £70 fitted and for 205 x 40 x 17 at the front they were £50 each, think they have a high speed rating too.
i originally just needed 1 tyre replacing and got the Phoenix on and didn't notice any difference in handling so when i needed others i just got Phoenix all round.
Can't be a bad tyre either as i know somebody who's got them on his 350+ break M30 -
OP,
You have probably done something by now seeing as it's Wednesday. But if this was me I'd put the wheel on the back and drive as normal, when it goes (if it goes) just put the spare on.0
