Nintendo dogs (merged threads)

  • Still no joy, so getting a bit concerned now. I'm thinking of getting one from Italy where there is no craze at the moment and retail price for dogs is about 150 Euro.
I appreciate the game is the same but would there be any problem setting the language to English? My son says that the PS2 games he buys in Italy (I'm Italian, we go there a lot...) only work in Italian.

    Any idea?

    Thank you

Anyone got any hints on where to find a pink DS pack with nintendogs in/around london?

keep checking your local Argos stores frequently, you might just get lucky ... I'd been looking on-line for days & no-one had them, including Argos. then just before going to bed one night, after searching fruitlessly earlier, on an impulse I checked again, & the smaller of my local stores had some in! I reserved it & collected it next day. if I'd just gone to bed, they'd probably all have been gone by the time I got up & checked in the morning

    good luck :)

  • Please please pretty please can anyone help? I am trying to order a Nintendogs pack for my daughter for Christmas, not bothered what dog it is but the console cannot be pink (she hates pink)

I have tried these online stores so far

    Woolies
    Argos
    HMV
    Virgin
    Play
    John Lewis
    Comet
    Currys

Can anyone think of any other websites that I could try? I have looked on Ebay, but tbh the prices are very inflated!!!

These appear to be in short supply, as you are finding out!
Rather than try and obtain the special Nintendogs pack (the Nintendo DS console plus the Nintendogs game), it may be easier to obtain them separately.

The Nintendogs game was in stock at cdwow for £26.99

The DS console Mario Kart pack looks like it is stock for £99.99 at Amazon (showing 'usually dispatched within 24 hours).

Silver DS Console showing in stock at www.nomatica.co.uk for £96.76
low stocks at consoleplus.co.uk and play.com

Not sure if these are any good but might be worth a ring, showing 3 at Harrow. Says 2nd hand but they have only been out for a couple of months, so shouldnt be in that bad a condition.

if you use the Argos text and reserve service you can have a "back in stock text" to save you ringing up all the time
