Can I get a freesat PVR?

I'm thinking of getting freesat but can't find out if Sky do it with the equivalent of a Sky+ box.
The thing is I want just one box and no subscription.

Hi gord115, Not exactly a definate answer to your question, but just wanted to let you know that after cancelling our Sky subscription we were able to go over to Freesat for free and requested the recording facility on our Sky+ box be kept. They now charge us £10 per month for the use of the recording facility on the Sky+ box. Hope this helps...0

As above, Freesat PVR (and HD as well as the HDD) will (hopefully be here by Xmas. As for the Sky comments, no, the only Freesat From Sky is the plain old box, no option for Sky+ box, as they think that only subscribers should be able to record.0
