Given the recent turmoil of the markets should we be nervous of anything happenning to the CIS?

You saw worse stockmarket performance in 2000-2001. Were you nervous then?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Dont seem to remember banks going bust in that time?
Stockmarket fell 43% from its high point then. This time round it has fallen 28% from the high point. Last time round it was media and techs and plenty of companies failed then. This time round its builders and banks.
Personally, I wouldnt want a CIS with profits fund so it may be a good excuse to review it but dont let paranoia influence your investment decisions.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
