Rough cost for building shell of extension

Hi I am thinking of building a 2 storey extension 6.7m x 5m Im only after the shell build as I will finish it off myself. Does anyone have a rough cost?? any help grateful cheers

Hi I'm also thinking of a 2-storey extension (total area = 32 m2) and possible rear (total area = 24m2) but only require shell build for self-finishing. Plans approved just need ballpark figures -anyone? Appreciated. Thanks

I'm very interested by this thread too. I'm in the process of buying a house - the end of a terrace of three built in the mid-1980s. There is an extensive garden to the side, and I'm considering a single storey extension there as a music room. The approximate size would be 6m x 3 m: the external finish would be brick to match the existing building, the roof would be pitched, again to match the existing one, but the rafters would be open to the room rather than having a flat ceiling. One window at the side and patio doors. I fillied out the 'Grow Your home' estimator, and it came out as £24,597 which struck me as high, even for the Bath end of Somerset. What does anyone else think?
