IF...

Two police officers and a member of staff from the housing association/Council have just paid a vist to someone...

Anybody know why they would do that?

    Looking for witnesses against neighbours...
    Trying to get you to tell them about somebody who is cheating the housing benefit/council tax benefit people....
    Want to ask a few questions about somebody's flat maybe they growing something...
    Trying to use your house for a few days to steak out, watching criminals...
    (I am watching way too much detective/criminal films, sorry ;))

    thats so far...

    It happened to someone on our street, and nothing exciting happens round here, Im not usually nosey but when the police turn up.

    I dont know them well enough to ask...I am going with being served eviction papers but probably wrong.

    I work for a housing association :rolleyes: It normally means that it is a court order for either access or rent not paid.

    im sure you could always ask in passing how are they doing if you are worried. It may be due to neighbour problems, and if they do get evicted the authority will have a duty to house them temporarly until something is sorted, as they have children.

    Trouble is I dont really speak to them and i doubt they would be forthcoming as they probably think "what the hell is this guy asking me stuff like that for".

    I hope there ok though. Im sure it will get back to me eventually through the grapevine.
