I have just brought this printer but im having trouble getting it working.
Firstly it comes up with its a DCP115C and the drivers are not installed from the disc
I unistalled everyone ( what Brother tch help told me to do )
I then installed the full pack from the Brother site but it still wont reconise the driver
Its now saying its not compatable with Vista but the paper work abd the discription on the box sayd it is
Also when setting it up I got to the stage to turn the power on and it should have given me the option to set the languaage on the LCD but all that comes up is a big ! in red
Any ideas anyone?

I wouldn't have too much patience with them over this. Vista has been out long enough that Brother don't really have any excuse for their drivers not working as they should.
If I were in your position I would contact whoever sold it to you and make it clear that it's faulty and/or not fit for purpose, and you require a refund.
The market for £50 inkjet printers is very crowded, and Brother don't deserve your custom if they can't ship a product that works as it should. Epson, Canon and HP all have good products in that price range - the Canon that I bought recently worked straight away, out of the box (under Linux!).0 -
Try using windows, ask it to detect new hardware and then install. ~It may work then.
