Hi there, I would like to know if anyone has any suggested companies I could try as I'm looking for a built in wardrobe. I know Sharps can be expensive and don't really want a salesperson coming round to do a quote as I feel it would be a waste of their time and don't want them to be too pushy.
I've just looked at Ikea's & B&Q websites and they do modular bedroom furniture, is this the same concept as Sharps ie with careful planning I can fill the space on one wall ?? I would like to fill all the space on one wall to max the space and don't want any gaps, so is modular bedrooms the right direction to look.
I could try local a carpenter, but would they be all to offer door fascias like you see on Sharps ranges and other freestanding wardrobes??

I've just had new wardrobes fitted in the last month. Try Wickes. They are far better quality than than B&Q and Ikea. Mine are fully fitted flush wall to wall and look fantastic. All in all they cost me £900 including fitting.
Work out a price from B&Q using their guides (as they are cheaper) and then get a quote from Wickes. The Wickes sales staff are instructed not to let anyone go to B&Q at any cost. (this is despite the fact that their product is not comparable)
Wickes use a cladded frame system like Sharps and Hammonds. Where as B&Q uses a carcass. I have B&Q ones fitted in the front bedroom and the doors look cheap in comparison to the Wickes ones.My farts hospitalize small children0 -

Thanks dreamypuma. We always forget about trying Wickes for DIY bits, we may give that a go.

Thanks Ormus will try this if we are not happy with the price from elsewhere and maybe find a fitter. Hubby has all good intentions when doing DIY himself but then leaves a job half finished, cuts corners and it doesn't end up looking like a good job. I learnt from the first kitchen he fitted himself, 2nd Kitchen we got someone to fit it for us.0 -

I would look into thism as there are plenty of places you can pick your desired bedroom furniture up without the added cost of someone coming around and fitting it for you.0 -
