Hi
Don't know if anyone can advise but I defaulted on my credit card a year ago and it was taken on board by a debt recovery compnay who i am now paying back the balance too.
I have paid over £2000.00 off the balance this year but still have another 2 years to go.
I need to know if I can reclaim my charges which caused me to go over my limit and make my minimum repayments impossible to meet now that the credit card company has handed the balance over?
Thanks

Try asking on the reclaiming your bank/card charges board as the folks there will probably be more knowledgable in these kind of things.0

here is what happened to myself.
I had a cap 1 card with £200 limit i couldnt make the payments and ended up with £488 in total inc all charges etc. They defaulted me and then sold the debt to a DCA and i ignored all letters they were sending as am in procress of claiming the charges back from cap1 and ignoring the DCA which i wrote to etc etc and now removed the default from my account and am back to dealing with the company who issued me the charges.0
