Shut the door leading to the stairs and let him roam freely downstairs. spray the carpart at the door with Scratch no. more. He should be fine then. he will soon get used to it if you dont open the door.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Personally speaking, the only door we could shut to keep them downstairs would be the kitchen... and it's not exactly cosy in there... and no room for a cat bed!
Suppose I could box in the stairs but it seems a bit extreme, they're not monsters
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
We had this exact problem with our 2 kittens and it was getting worse (it used to start at about 6am, but in the end it was more like 3am!). In the end we had to shut them into the living room at night, they do scratch at that door as well, but at least we don't hear it as much! As someone else said above, I think it was all about food - but now they have to wait till morning!0
