i had a call from Toyota yesterday asking if we still had our Aygo Sport.
Yes and we were quite happy with it. the man said would we be interested in selling it back to Toyota as they had a long list of people now looking for small economical cars. they have no second hand cars on their forecourt.

But i'm not stupid, if we sell him ours and he says he has no small economcal cars then i have to go a spec higher or look elsewhere. Anyway the upshop is that as we pas the garage on sunday we will call in so he can give us a price but i dont think its going to happen. I was just wondering if it was just another marketing ploy.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

We had a flyer form our local dealer with the same BS. "We are desperate for your old Aygo as we can't get enough to sell second hand". The flyer also mentioned they were doing some excellent deal on new ones!

Car dealers will try anything to sell a car at the moment. If they are in such demand sell it yourself though a private ad and pocket the dealers profit.
