Help
I am trying to get rid of aporx £950 on MBNA and £550 on EGG. I have been refused new credit card for balance transfers and also tried an existing card. I am worried also as my 0% on my other cards are going to expire at in 2 months and have £4,000 on them. Any suggestions?

Admittedly, the best balance transfer deals are usually reserved for new customers, but you don't have to apply for a new card to get new credit. You may be able to reduce your costs using credit cards you already hold. For details, see Martin's *Credit Card Shuffle* article

I have already tried asking barclaycard for a limit increase so I can balance transfer but I was refused. Any other suggestions would be great.0

You can still do shuffle steps 1 and 4.
I would concentrate on reducing your most expensive debt as much as possible each month. Clearing that debt ASAP will reduce the interest you pay and you'll be building a better credit history in the process.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
