My elderley father has around 70K in the Alliance and Leicester BS.
We recently opened an account for him with Icesave as they were well recommended on this site. We would like to transfer 35K to his Icesave account. My question is, with this being an overseas bank, will the government still guarantee money should the bank go bust?
