  • I personally love any celebration, whether pagan or religious.  (I am an atheist, and hopefully thats the only "ist" I am.

Good point, however paganism is a religion as much as any other. I know this, I met one once.

I have a feeling this board is turning into a religious discussion, like RE at school.

What was the topic again? Free stuff, that's it. Keep them coming, I don't mind what they are, Christian or religious, as long as they are free.

Forgot about this topic for a while.

"I presume you believe in censorship though ?

Perhaps we shouldn't post any offers for discounted meat at ASDA in case we upset the vegetarians on this site !

Personally I'm dyslexic and hence believe in DOG !"

    Quoia,

Sorry to see you've taken me up wrongly.

This has nothing to do with censorship, although that raises another point. I'm sure few people would be pleased if someone posted a message offering free BNP material. An extreme example but how do you decide where to draw the line? I just think there's a place for religious and political materials and this particular board isn't it.

No harm to anyone who has posted details about religious freebies (I'm sure your intentions are good) but as the original poster said, it would be much more useful if these were on a separate board. It's as much a time-saving issue as anything else.

Whether this happens or not doesn't particularly bother me but I can see where the original poster was coming from and a kneejerk 'what's the world coming to?' type response isn't very helpful.

I thought this site was about saving money, not souls. ;D

nope. You can ask to affirm instead but doing so can go against you, even though it shouldn't.

Perhaps a section for free information/leaflets etc?
