I thought I would post this to redress an inbalance that is becoming rather too obvious on this board lately, constructive suggestion:maybe religious freebies and religious resources and music can have its own section or board???

I think we should keep religion off the boards too.

I can see that it could cause offence/annoyance to some readers of the forums who are looking for bargains and find other stuff they'd rather not have to sift through.

Just because something is free, doesn't mean it automatically warrants a mention here (although sometimes it seems that way, I'll admit!).

Maybe we should just apply the rules of the site and insist that people state their connection to the subject matter. :)

Therefore, most posts about religion ought to be treated as referrals and put on the appropriate board. I have my own personal beliefs but I keep them to myself.

I'll happily listen to other people's views on the matter.

    Anyone?

so long as we don't discuss it, it shouldn't be a problem, those who find this useful can just say so.

I presume you believe in censorship though ?

Perhaps we shouldn't post any offers for discounted meat at ASDA in case we upset the vegetarians on this site !

Personally I'm dyslexic and hence believe in DOG !

I'm an atheist but I have no problem with people posting religious freebies on this site.  Just because I'm not interested, it doesn't mean that someone else isn't.  :)

P.S. I'm also vegetarian but have no problem with posts for discounted meat! ;D

I thought my daughter might like this as she has been informed by her "christian" person giving a talk to her class that she is going straight to hell - not because she has done anything but because she cannot accept everything he says and asks awkward questions.

She now of course takes delight in coming up with even more awkward questions.

Have you heard about the bad speller who sold his soul to Santa ? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I am a christian and a vegetarian and I am ok with whatever people want to post, religious or not.

I also hate ASDA with a vengeance as they exploit people and the planet (and they belong to Walmart :P)but I have no objections to freebies and discounts advertised for ASDA goods, as I believe that people have to make their own choices.

The world would be a better place if we all try to be tolerant of others' views.

Cheer up - it's nearly Christmas - Oh no, we're not allowed to mention that either, coz upsets non-christians apparently. Loads of shopping centres have stopped doing santa's grotties- bah humbug or what.

I personally love any celebration, whether pagan or religious. (I am an atheist, and hopefully thats the only "ist" I am.
