As much as I prefer firefox (latest version), I wish it would present favourites in much the same way as IE.
Currently any real favourite is represented by its icon, in a bar along the top of this screen. When this is full, they are held on the right of the screen out of site but accessed by clicking an arrow.
Should I wish to save more, I bookmark them and by clicking bookmark, a drop down menu shows them.
But in IE, they are shown by clicking the yellow star, but more than that, folders can be created ie TRAVEL, and within that, anything rail/road/air is held, thus saving screen space.
Can anything similar be done in FF? and if so, how easy is it to achieve?

Tag your favourites with keywords. You can also create smart folders and all sorts. Have a read of: http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/tips/0

Yes of course it can! Simply right click 'Bookmark This Page' on the webpage and save to any folder of your choice. Click on the far right Folder dropdown arrow, to expand your folder list. More info here:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Ever tried clicking 'organise bookmarks' under the bookmark menu in FF? This is where you can create folders, rearrange bookmarks and basically do whatever you like. Anything you want in the toolbar I put all my folders here) you put into 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder' and anything you want in the menu (IE style, will appear when you click bookmarks) you put under Bookmarks Menu. Very customisable and no Add-Ons required.
