I would hazard a guess that your lg wont accept an 8GB card
When you formated in your pc what was the size then? (IN you pc I mean)

It needs to support SDHC cards in order to be able to read and write to cards over 8GB. If it doesn't support SDHC you will only be able to see the first 2GB of the card.

Can you explain that a little further JOel? If say a 4 gig was used would you only see 2 gig? Or would it be 1 gig (a half)?
    Is HC High Capacity?
Is 2 gig the MAXIMUM if the equipment wont support SDHC?

    Cheers

  • i think its to do with the memory the card allows.

i am pretty sure the LG phone will Does not support 8GB so it is coming up with what it does allow which is 2GB
if you was to put the card into something which 8GB was allowed it would work
