I have noticed that every year, DL increase the rebuild sum insured for my house by 10%. Is this normal? I have only had the house for 2 years, but the rebuild cost insured is now way about the amount quoted when we had it valued.

You have a sum insured pol with direct line. It will be index linked each year, its usually 7-10% rise on the re-build cost. Its nothing unusual. Every insurance company does that on a sum insured.mrsw wrote:I have noticed that every year, DL increase the rebuild sum insured for my house by 10%. Is this normal?
