I need help finding a place to go with our 2yr old grandson and mummy. We will be in the area of Berwick upon Tweed and he loves zoos and aquariums. He is lively and we want something that HE will enjoy after a long journey, we want/need to take him with us so any help for his day out would be great.

Are you from berwick or are you traveling up there? if your traveling up from the south there are loads of animally type of places round dumfries and galloway that im sure he'd love.

Travelling from Yorkshire and we will be staying overnight, we might even get as far as Glasgow but not made any firm plans as yet. We will definately be going but not sure how far up yet, will be going within the next month. I understand that there is a zoo near Glasgow does any one know how good it is?Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Glasgow Zoo shut a long time ago. There is still a zoo in Edinburgh though with a daily penguin parade that's pretty cool to see.
Was it maybe Blair Drummond Safari Park you were thinking of? It's a great day out for children http://www.blairdrummond.com/ It's about an hour from Glasgow heading towards Stirling.0
