Right, got a new meter...
Intelligent installers decide that its not enough to just turn it off.. they have put a cap in somewhere to stop the gas working.
Firstly, where would the cap be?
Secondly, how much would I be looking at to get a Corgi out to remove it.

Did you have a working gas supply before the new meter was fitted and was the meter a straight swap.
Are you with the same suppliers.
I have had a new meter fitted, it was an updated replacement as part of the let's go round and change meters scheme
My gas supply was turned off, meter swapped and then turned back on.
As far as I remember, the installer required access to the property to check that the gas was coming through.
Maybe try ringing yor supplier and asking them, or if you still have the details of the meter changing arrangements, ring them.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
