"Credit Evaluation" at Lloyds TSB ??

in Credit cards
Was standing in line at Lloyds TSB customer service desk today and overheard the dude in front of me being told, "oh actually the screen says you're eligible for a credit card. Would you like to come with me and I'll set the card account up for you now."
The man had actually been querying something about his latest current account statement not arriving. He had not even asked for a credit card. The Customer Services Agent was all smiles, she looked thrilled to be giving him a credit card.
So I guess this is how it works then - the guy's behaviourial score was up to scratch and they don't even need to credit check him again. She didn't say "you can apply for a credit card" she said "we are going to give you a credit card."
So when my turn came up to ask my question, I said in my hopeful little voice, "is the screen offering me a credit card?" The CSA said "no. The screen is saying it wants to see how you run your account for the first 4 to 6 months and then should be able to offer you credit cards, overdraft etc."
"It's already given me an overdraft," I said.
She said, "oh yes I see that here. Well that's good."
I had a peek at her screen. I did not see any behavourial score at all (perhaps because the account is only a couple of weeks old?). Next to Overdraft it showed my current limit. Next to Credit Card I think it said £0. And next to Loan it said "Credit Evaluation". What does the "Credit Evaluation" mean? That they are evaluating me right now?

I'm confused. If your account is no new that your pin and cards only just arrived, then how come you're already having a review? When did you actually become a Lloyds TSB current account customer?
Also, they already offered me the Platinum account on account of my credit score being high enough. They also offered me an overdraft straight away. I've had the account only about 2 or 3 weeks.
How long did you actually run the account before they offered you credit card, loan etc?0 -
Hi sorry for the confusion, I have had my current account for them with 6 months, just the normal standard one with no fees no overdraft, I had my first account review last week, where they offered me the credit card and said I could upgrade to the platinum account if I wanted, I took the credit card but not the upgrade, my review was monday, my new pin number came for the credit card on the wed, then the new credit cards came on thursday of that week0
