Hotmail

Hey all..

I've been trying to access my Hotmail account for the last few hours and I keep getting the message :
Provide account information The account you're signing in to is linked to an account that is missing some required information. To finish signing in, enter the missing information, or unlink the account.

We respect your privacy and will use this information in accordance with our privacy policy

Below this it asks me for my password. I enter my password and it takes me back to this screen.

Is anyone experiencing the same problem?

(It's a .com account if that makes a difference)
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

Well mines ok but hotmail and msn etc tend to have 'area specific' problems

Id just leave it for today and see if its sorted itself out by tomorrow

(Although it could be you need to clear the 'cookie' for it to work?)

  • Thanks..

I've tried that and still no joy.
It also doesn't work for Windows Live :-(

AND how can i unlink my account like it suggests if i can't log into it in the first place.

    Like I said
Its probably just a fault at their end so the message you get isnt really viable
If you want my honest opinion though you should really use a different email account as hotmail is forever getting 'hacked' etc
I personally recommend GOOGLEMAIL (completly free like hotmail)

  • It would appear you are right.. Although it did ask me to change my password before it let me back in.

    Thanks..
