central heating grant

hi everyone ,just thought id ask if anyone knows about any boiler or central heating grants available in scotland,heating just been condemed by scottish gas.i have one child (7)who currently recieves highest rate dla and carers allowance.apparently in scotland(warm deal)says you can only claim for a grant if you are over 60,different in england(warmfront i think).
just thought id post on here to see if anyone knew anything before i have to fork out heavily,dreading these salesmen from scottish gas comming!:rolleyes:

Hi there
I would try and find where your local CAB is if you have one or if there is a library in either Oban or any of the other towns, they may have this information to help you, But I know in England we have the Warmfront scheme. There maybe more threads later with more help.
